It is mellow and calming. The synthz u added make it different. Also i like it how the vocals and the tin drum sounds sound like they hav come out of an old cassette player or something. It really is relaxing

Yeah heavy metal aint ur thing. Does sound like it has came outta a nintendo64 game which makes it awesome. If i could code games i'd use it!^^ Keep it up:P

You got some good drum samples there. And those vocals were pretty awesome as well, there isn't much bad to say about this one. My fave bit is 1:28 and onwards. So all thumbs up for me. 5/5 :P
BTW: ive started the stikfite part in our collab (finally) it involves a guy fighting a blob, my "?" is yet to be decided and i forget what ive done with the music bit it's been so long since ive touched it(i do know ive gotten more than 200 frames on the music part though). soz if my slow animating attention span is peeing u off.

Thanx, actually the boulder thing was just a cover for the fact that the song is kind of cut up... I mean it doesn't stay in a single style, but it changes kind of randomly...

Yeah, 1:28 onwards is the culmination, and it worked pretty well now that I hear it again... Maybe that part shoulda been longer... Oh well...

That's ok, I'm not really sure what to do with the ? part either...
But take your time, it's not like I'm gonna finish it any time soon either. =P

GrOoVy MuSicz! Dude that is heaps good! Well deserved to be in a platformer! Flowed well, cacthy, all up awesome! If u make another 8-bit song you should up the tempo a pinch. That is awesome!

Yeah, this is thought to be on the first level, so it's pretty laid back.
If I make more I'll make something faster, and try and make it suspenseful or adventurous.

Good job! Only thing I'd say that was lacking was that the song didn't reach the level the vocals were on. The guy in the song really goes sound like he has reached that level of "crazy". The beat and everything were great! I'm just saying they didn't reach the level of crazy,

I agree. That's a good observation. 2Pac is so believable in this scene, it's scary...
I was going for a rough, and crazy feel. Hence the crazy BD and reese near the end.
I think the pads Leo made gave it more feel. But like you said, it doesn't reach the same twisted, coldblooded "I don't give a fu*k"-crazy.

Beats and voice were the best I had to offer.

Yeah, I guess it's kind of repetitive.
I'm always happy about a song if it has anything that's new for me. And I haven't done a shakes sound like that before. It was actually a snare with increased attack, and changes in volume...
Also the bass drum has a good "thump thump" feel.
So I'll just have to remember the good things and discard the bad stuff in the future...

Cool

I can see what point cyberdevil is coming at. It's good in music quality but puts you in a relaxed and soothing but bored kinda mood... I think it was enjoyable! The start sounds like the guitar in 'setout,thrill!' cept slowed down a lot! Keep it up!

Yeah, I kinda thought that's what he meant...
I realized the similarity between the guitars later, but in "set out thrill" I used a guitar soundfont, but here I used a cool 80's synth that Nav recommended.
It's actually for making wavy sounds I guess, but I used it this way...
